Now the kids can come in from the garage and sit down to take off their shoes and conveniently store them in the cubbies. We used a beautiful piece of Acacia butcher block for the seat and took took the shiplap all the way to the ceiling. A shelf and hooks complete the project and provide a great place to store baseball hats and hang backpacks and jackets.

Fireplace Feature Wall- Fortress
This project turned an awkward and blank two-story wall into a functional and aesthetically pleasing focal point. This was a challenging project dealing with the asymmetry of the space. We framed out a two-story wall and added an electric linear fireplace with a tile surround and live-edge mantel. The ship lap all the way to the ceiling. The left side has cabinets, a bookcase, and a bench. The right side has cabinets which house all the electronics for the room.

Laundry Room Remodel- Park Forest
The builder left this new construction home with a wire shelf and nothing else in this oversized laundry room. We added wall to wall cabinetry and shelving to maximize storage and utility. The space features three 8-foot "lockers" on the right side- one for each kid to store backpacks, books, and more. The apron sink was just what the baseball mom needed to clean pants. Butcher block countertops provide ample space for folding clothes. The shelf on the left side allowed space for five small laundry baskets- one for each family member's clean clothes. Add a lazy-susan in each corner and there's a place for everything. What dreams do you have for your laundry room?
